The champions of the 2025 Sustainable Beauty Awards were revealed on October 22nd during a celebratory gathering at the European iteration of the Sustainable Cosmetics Summit (October 22-23, 2025), hosted at the Crowne Plaza République hotel in Paris.
Conducted by Ecovia Intelligence, the Sustainable Beauty Awards commend labels, firms, and pioneers who are propelling the sustainability movement via cutting-edge merchandise, elements, containers, or endeavors.

Sustainable Ingredient
Lucas Meyer Cosmetics by Clariant secured the gold award with Pickmulse, a Pickering emulsifier crafted from certified organic quinoa seeds sourced from the Bolivian highlands.
BioTara attained the silver distinction with Tucuma Butter, derived from Tucuma fruits procured ethically from the Brazilian Amazon.
New Sustainable Product
Ringana’s Fresh Volume Shampoo claims the gold award. The COSMOS-certified organic shampoo incorporates plant-derived components, featuring a mushroom essence complex, fermented rice liquid, and a copolymer extracted from sugar beets.
Kheoni Wellness garners silver with its Kokum Body Butter Moisturizing Bar. The natural, palm oil-absent solid moisturizer originates from kokum sourced from indigenous societies in the southern forests of India.
Sustainable Packaging
CAHM Europe’s QPearl achieves the gold accolade. The groundbreaking biomaterial supplants plastic wrapping for shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, body lotion, and related commodities. The protein-based substance dissolves in aqua and decomposes biologically.
The dual silver winners are Occeanne and SMCG Glass. The Californian trademark Occeanne employs ocean plastic in its hand soap receptacles. The Korean enterprise SMCG Glass manufactures cosmetic wrapping with a significant proportion of Post-Consumer Recycled glass: 60%.
Sustainability Pioneer
Laverana attains the gold award. The Hanover-situated natural beauty products organization receives acknowledgment for its comprehensive strategy toward sustainability. It has allocated funds toward investigation and science, a reforestation scheme, along with eco-friendly packaging.
Croda Beauty is the silver recipient for the biodegradability of its constituents. The ingredient purveyor has broadened the biodegradability figures accessible for its functional component compilation to encompass a baseline of 90%.
Sustainability Start-Up
C16 Biosciences emerges as the gold victor of this inaugural honor. The New York-based establishment employs precision fermentation to generate palm oil substitutes from renewable resources.
The Dutch newcomer Bamboovement secures the silver award. It fabricates plastic-devoid oral hygiene and shaving provisions. Its throwaway shaver is assembled from repurposed timber remnants and bio-derived oils.
