Baralan Group: ItalyX Seal of Approval for Top Italian Quality

The Italian supplier of primary packaging for cosmetics has become the first participant in its field to secure the ItalyX certification, an honor sponsored by the Italian newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore in collaboration with Confindustria — Italy’s organization representing manufacturers and businesses — and Bureau Veritas.

This program acknowledges Italian firms recognized for their dedication to local investments, skilled workmanship, and exceptional manufacturing grounded in their national legacy.

Baralan Group, a third-generation family-owned enterprise with over 60 years of expertise, has its main offices in Trezzano sul Naviglio, located near Milan. While its foundations and production reside firmly in Italy—featuring four production locations and a research and development laboratory—the business maintains a global outlook. Baralan provides service to over 60 nations via its production facilities in Italy and the U.S., bolstered by a broad network of sales divisions and distributors.

Baralan’s comprehensive industrial strategy is constructed on an ethos of innovation and sustainable design. The Group’s most recent advancements encompass novel 3D embellishments, the growth of its DEA glass airless product range, and a fresh spray dispenser appropriate for non-alcoholic and fragrance-free compositions. Its solutions that can be refilled and configured—like refill containers, airtight internal receptacles, and powder distributors for loose powders—highlight its pledge to diminishing waste and encouraging reusability consistent with a more sustainable cosmetic industry.

Glass is still key to Baralan’s distinctiveness. The firm persists in innovating with compact bottles, roll-on applicators, and precise applicators designed for skincare and makeup items, all conceived, engineered, and assessed in Italy.

This endorsement strengthens our position as representatives of Italian ingenuity and superiority on a global scale, supplying top quality with enthusiasm and attentiveness,” declared Caroline Baranes, Chief Business Officer at Baralan. “We are investing in the beauty sector’s future to acknowledge creativity and skill.

Currently, Baralan declares exceeding 1,600 current goods in its assortment and more than 1,100 customers across the globe. The organization employs 300 individuals.
