Anne Hathaway Expertly Pairs a White Painter’s Coverall With Needlepoint Slippers

She departed the set of The Devil Wears Prada 2 in a workwear-inspired outfit complemented by high-end accessories.

In recent weeks, Anne Hathaway has sparked considerable excitement with her Andy Sachs outfits for the upcoming The Devil Wears Prada 2—yet it was her casual attire that drew the most interest this Wednesday.

As she was captured leaving the set of her new film, the actress showcased a distinct, more utilitarian aspect of her style, donning a bright white jumpsuit from Wildfang.

The zippered design resembled a painter’s coverall, complete with a snap neck closure, ruler pocket, hammer loop, and utility pockets on the pants and chest.

Hathaway then struck a high-low blend with several opulent accessories, including a Brunello Cucinelli calfskin bag in caramel, needlepoint slippers from Stubbs & Wootton, and tiger-print sunglasses from Villa eyewear. Earlier that day, the Oscar-winning actress was seen in the same workwear outfit, but paired with a different set of luxury footwear: Valentino sandals featuring golden, chain-like thong straps. It’s safe to say that none of these items would be particularly suitable for a work environment.
