The circle of trust is about to expand. The anticipated fourth film in the popular comedy series is officially titled “Focker In-Law” and is set to bring back several of the original cast.
Previously, original star Ben Stiller has been careful not to reveal too many details about the next installment. In a January 2025 interview with Entertainment Tonight, the Getaway actor and director noted, “I think everyone wants it to happen.” He also added of his character, “Greg might have multiple kids, and maybe one of them is getting married.”

What is Meet the Parents about?
Gaylord “Greg” Focker (played by Ben), a Chicago nurse, is determined to meet the family of his crush Pam Burns ( Teri Polo ) before proposing to her. However, after meeting her father, strict ex-CIA agent Jack Burns ( Robert De Niro ), Greg realizes what he might be getting himself into.
Arriving at the Brian family home, Greg intends to ask Jack for permission to marry Pam, but failure and chaos haunt him at every step in his relationship with Jack.
The comedy was such a success upon its premiere in 2000 that it led to the creation of two sequels: Meet the Fockers and Meet the Fockers.
When will Faker's mother-in-law come out?
“Focker-In-Law” is set to premiere on November 25, 2026, just in time for Thanksgiving.

Luckily for die-hard fans, several of the original cast members will return for the fourth film. Ben Stiller will reprise his role as Greg Focker, while Robert De Niro will play Jack Burns. Teri Polo will reprise her role as Pam Focker, and Blythe Danner will reprise her role as Dinah Burns.
Ariana Grande will join the cast as the fiancée of Greg and Pam's adult son, introducing a new generation into the chaos of the Faker-Byrne family dynamic.
John Hamburg , who co-wrote the previous Meet the Parents films, is set to direct In-Law, marking his return to the franchise.
What will the film “Foker's Mother-in-Law” be about?
While the full plot has yet to be revealed, Focker's In-Laws is expected to follow Greg and Pam's adult son as he prepares for his wedding.
De Niro shared that he had read the script, describing it as “very funny,” but did not reveal details of the storyline.
