Pete Davidson is thrilled at the prospect of becoming a father.
Just days after he and his girlfriend Elsie Hewitt announced they are expecting their first child, the comedian appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to discuss his joyful news.
“I did it!” Davidson exclaimed with a grin when host Jimmy Fallon mentioned his life update.
“Anyone who is familiar with me knows that it’s my dream to be a dad. So I’m incredibly excited. Elsie’s thrilled. I can’t wait to see her as a mom. We’re both over the moon,” the Riff Raff star elaborated. “Everything else just doesn’t seem to matter anymore. It’s wonderful.”

Davidson and Hewitt revealed the model’s pregnancy with a humorous, candid, and sweet Instagram post that highlighted pictures of them throughout their relationship, along with some ultrasound images of their baby. “Well, now everyone knows we had sex,” Hewitt amusingly captioned the post.
The couple began their relationship earlier this year but has already made their red-carpet debut and attended several public events together. They also quickly went Instagram-official, and a source informed Page Six that the former Saturday Night Live cast member is “very happy” with Hewitt. “[She] is quite different from anyone else he has dated before,” the insider noted. “She respects Pete and his wish for privacy.”
