Angelina Jolie and Salma Hayek looked like two sides of the same coin when they boarded a flight to Mexico City together last week.
On the day of their trip, the actors showed off very different approaches to airport style, with Jolie sticking to her minimalist, chic style while Hayek opted for a relaxed, comfortable outfit. (Their looks were featured in a video a fan posted to TikTok on Saturday.)
Jolie looked stunning in a flowy long white top, which she paired with loose beige pleated trousers and a lightweight ivory trench coat, perfect for the summer heat. She completed the casual and stylish look with brown pumps (possibly Uggs), a roomy black woven leather bag (probably Bottega Veneta), and black sunglasses.
Hayek, in turn, chose a more reserved look, wearing a snow-white sweatshirt over a white T-shirt and matching sweatpants. For footwear, she chose white sneakers. Like Jolie, the Magic Mike's Last Dance star complemented her outfit with inky black oversized sunglasses.
Hayek and Jolie smiled as they posed for photos with fans while grabbing a bite to eat at the airport, then chatted with each other as they waited in line to board their flight. After landing in Veracruz, Mexico, they boarded a car together.
The actors are longtime friends and have collaborated on several projects. Last year, Hayek starred in Jolie’s drama Bloodless. And in 2021, they worked together on The Eternals. They’ve also publicly supported each other over the years: Most recently, Hayek celebrated Jolie’s Tony Award win for The Outsiders with a touching Instagram post. “There are rare people who we already know are brilliant, but it’s hard to know just how brilliant. My dear Angie, you never cease to impress and inspire me, especially because I know that everything you do comes from a place of love,” Hayek wrote of her friend.
