Prince William Had the Sweetest Response to a Boy Asking Him If He’s the King

See the adorable moment

A little boy asked Prince William about his royal status, and Wills had a sweet and honest response.

A few weeks ago, the Prince of Wales, traveled to Toxteth in Liverpool, England, to meet with young students and learn about community groups working to support young people in the area.

There, he met a St Nicholas Catholic Academy pupil, a little boy named Mohammed, who quickly warmed up to the royal and asked him some questions.

“Hello, are you the king?” the young boy asked William. You can see the moment in a video shared on X by the student’s school.

“No, I’m not, no. I’m his son,” William replied, referring to his father, King Charles III.

The boy introduced himself as Mohammed, and he and the prince took a candid selfie video that was also shared on social media by the school. “Say cheese!” Mohammed adorably says. “Cheese!” William says with a wide smile.

The prince, of course, has plenty of experience with kids, as he is dad to Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, with wife Princess Catherine.

“Something to brighten up your day!!! So… one of our amazing year 5 Children managed to not only have a chat with @KensingtonRoyal Prince William, he also managed to get a selfie! #Appetiteforchange @StJosephCMAT” St Nicholas Catholic Academy wrote on X alongside the clips.

The two happened to coordinate in green looks, with William sporting a button-up fleece with a dark top and pants, and Mohammed looking cozy in a green puffer, gray pants, a gray beanie, and large eyeglasses.
