Beyoncé Looks Like a Glamorous Angel in a Lustrous Vivienne Westwood Gown

She made an announcement in her latest Instagram post

It’s Beyoncé’s world—we’re just living living in it.

The superstar mogul shared a new video to Instagram on Wednesday evening. The clip showed her dressed in a custom Vivienne Westwood dress, featuring the brand’s signature corseted bodice and a draped cowl neckline made out of lustrous ivory crepe. Standing against a white wall, Beyoncé mouthed the lyrics to her 2014 track with Nicki Minaj, “Feeling Myself.”

As an offscreen fan blew in her direction, sending her long honey blonde hair flying, she said, “World stop.” At those words, the fan stopped and a glam crew hurried toward her, adjusting her hair, makeup, and dress. “Carry on,” Beyoncé continued, restarting both the fan and the music. She walked off camera, leaving in her path an announcement that revealed that her haircare line, Cécred, will officially be available for purchase at Ulta starting on April 6.

Beyoncé, who launched Cécred last year, grew up watching mom Tina Knowles run her own hair salon in Texas. She opened up about these formative experiences in an interview for Harper’s Bazaar’s 2021 September cover story.

“I watched my mother nurture and heal those women in her salon, not just by making them look and feel beautiful but by talking with them, listening to them, and connecting with them,” the singer reflected. “I’ve seen how much Black women’s emotions are attached to our hair and beauty. The beauty industry does not always understand these emotions and what we need. I want to build a community where women of all races can communicate and share some of those secrets, so we can continue to support and take care of each other. I want to give women a space to feel their own strength and tell their stories. That is power.”
