Is that the smell of a new Hollywood romance in the air? It just might be, per some cuddly photos that were snapped ahead of the 2025 BAFTAs this past weekend.
Although their relationship status is unclear, Lily James and Glen Powell seemed quite comfortable with one another as they were spotted giggling and climbing into the same car following a pre-BAFTAs party hosted by Chanel and Charles Finch on Saturday.

According to Page Six, the pair were seen arriving to the party separately, and they exited one at a time as well, before uniting only minutes later in the back of a black SUV.
The relationship between the leading stars goes years back, to when they filmed The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society in 2017, which was released to positive reviews a year later.

When the period drama had its world premiere at The Curzon Mayfair in London, the two were seen posing together on the red carpet with the rest of the ensemble cast. Then, they were photographed together again in 2023, when they smiled backstage at the 28th annual Critics Choice Awards along with fellow actor and Top Gun: Maverick star Greg Tarzan Davis. Nothing particularly scandalous there.

But, in the past, each has been entangled in their own romantic relationships, with Powell having dated Gigi Paris from 2019 to 2023, and James having been involved with Queens of the Stone Age member Michael Shuman from 2021 until sometime in 2023.
So, with how quickly things move in Hollywood, we could very well be seeing the making of a new It couple—or not.
