The cover of the October 28, 2024, Money special issue, is Eric Drooker’s fortieth for the magazine. The native New Yorker, who illustrated Allen Ginsberg’s “Howl,” sees the financial district as one of the motors of life in the city. “The colossal scale of the skyscrapers in New York is matched only by the colossal egos of those who feel themselves above it all—too big to fail,” Drooker said.
