The “Luminarium,” a walk-through sculpture inspired by forest landscapes, will be open to the public in Central Park from July 2nd to 5th.
This engaging event, curated by the community-oriented arts initiative “Transported,” invites visitors to wander through a series of luminous tunnels and domes, illuminated naturally by daylight.
Dale Broughton, the leader of Boston Borough Council, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “The lighting and the overall effect are absolutely breathtaking. It’s something we’re genuinely thrilled to be bringing to Boston.”
He further elaborated, “It’s incredibly colourful and vibrant, with so many different elements to explore inside. Boston has never hosted anything quite like this before.”
The “Transported” program was also behind the town’s “Illuminate Parade,” a festive event that saw over 500 children parade through the streets during the Christmas season.

The “Luminarium” joins a growing roster of cultural and sporting events scheduled for Boston this summer.
Just recently, it was confirmed that the town will serve as the starting point for the second stage of the 2026 Tour of Britain men’s cycling race.
Additionally, July will feature “Boston’s Strongest” and “Food Fest,” a celebration of strength sports and culinary delights, followed by “B-Fest,” a live music festival, in August.
