Oscar Piastri won several Grand Prix
As of July 2025, Oscar has won eight Grand Prix titles. However, he has his sights set on a bigger trophy: the World Championship, something he previously mentioned in an interview with Gentleman’s Journal.
“My long-term goal is to win the world championship,” Oscar said, adding: “We’re all here for that purpose, aren’t we? … As an Australian, getting into Formula One is quite difficult – I’ve had to make some big life decisions and change my life to make it possible.”
Oscar shared his memory of signing his Formula 1 contract, calling it “a very significant event” despite it happening “in a garage car park in the UK”.
“Even though there was some controversy around it, it was still a very, very special memory,” Oscar said. “It was in a petrol station car park in the UK, so it wasn’t the most glamorous place to sign a Formula One contract, but it was still a very, very special feeling.”
