Interparfums reports 5.8% sales growth in first half of 2025

Interparfums’ sales increased by 5.8% in the first half of the year to €446.9 million ($525 million) . Its business in the United States remains “stable”, but the group could raise prices in the US market again if customs duties increase, the company said on Thursday, July 24.

“The announcement by the US administration in April of import duties of 20%, which were later reduced to 10%, prompted the company to take a number of measures to minimize the impact on the group’s profits,” Interparfums said. At the same time, the group announced a price increase of 6-7% in the US market .

“The recent proposal to increase this rate to 30% from August 1, 2025, if implemented, could prompt the company to take further action in the autumn,” Interparfums added.

“Despite numerous instances of geopolitical instability in the spring, which increased consumer caution in many markets, business remained stable between April and June, particularly in the United States, where sales increased by 9% over the three-month period,” the company said.

US sales grew 20% in the first half of the year, taking North America revenue to Rs 164 million (+15%).

“Given the strengthening of the euro against the US dollar since the spring, our sales target for 2025 should return to the lower end of our initial estimate, around 910 million euros,” said Chairman and CEO Philippe Benacin, quoted in a press release.

Thanks to the launch of Coach For Men Eau de Parfum and Coach Women Gold in Q1 and Q2 respectively, as well as solid performance across the core catalogue lines, Coach fragrance sales exceeded €100 million in the first half of 2025, growing 24% over the period;

Jimmy Choo’s revenue rose 3% to €104 million, while Montblanc’s sales fell 10% to €92 million.

According to a press release, in its second year of operation, Lacoste fragrance sales amounted to 52 million euros, an increase of 42%, “in line with the brand’s annual target (…) of 100 million euros by 2025.”

Also worth noting is that on Tuesday, Interparfums and Maison Longchamp announced a perfume licensing agreement until December 31, 2036, with the first launch planned for 2027.
