That’s all.

Miranda Priestly has entered the chat.
The sequel to The Devil Wears Prada 2 is in full swing, and the stars of the cult classic are returning to the streets to show off their fashions nearly two decades after the first installment. This week, we saw Anne Hathaway strolling the streets of New York in some stunning and stylish pieces from Andy Sachs’ 2025 wardrobe, and today, Meryl Streep joined her.

Streep, who plays the fearless but intimidating editor-in-chief of the fictional Runway magazine, looked her usual stunning self on set, wearing a loose, pastel purple halterneck top tucked into a chestnut brown leather midi skirt with a belt at the waist.
On top, Streep (or rather, Miranda) wore a flowing peach-hued trench coat. The look was completed with sheer black stockings, caramel round-toe platform pumps, vintage-style gold hoop earrings, and, of course, jet-black sunglasses. God forbid anyone should encounter Miranda’s judgmental gaze.
The Snow Queen’s snow-white hair was styled into an elegant, iconic side-parted updo, and her blush was applied flawlessly, earning us our first smile since Tom Ford in 2001.
