Estée Lauder Names Former Nestlé Employee Aude Gandon as First CDMO

The Estée Lauder Companies has named Aude Gandon as its first chief digital and marketing officer (CDMO) . Effective August 1, 2025, she will report directly to Stephane de La Faverie, president and CEO, and will be part of the company’s leadership team.

In this new role, Ms. Gandon will be responsible for transforming the company’s digital, marketing and media ecosystem. She will oversee global marketing operations and analytics, store design and visual merchandising, and omnichannel media strategy, with a particular focus on driving online sales performance.

Ms. Gandon joins The Estée Lauder Companies from Nestlé, where she previously served as Global Chief Marketing Officer and led the company’s digital transformation across 188 markets and more than 2,000 brands. She implemented new operating models, founded multiple global content studios, and developed strategic alliances with major technology platforms including Google, Meta, Amazon, and Netflix.

Before joining Nestlé, Aude Gandon held senior positions at Google, including Global Managing Director, Platforms and Ecosystems, where she was responsible for end-to-end brand and creative strategies across five continents. Previously, she held senior positions at international advertising agencies such as Publicis Worldwide, McCann and Leo Burnett, working with leading global brands in the beauty and luxury industries, including L’Oréal, P&G Beauty and LVMH.

Ms. Gandon was previously a board member of Capsum, an innovative developer of skincare and makeup formulas, and is currently a board member of the World Federation of Advertisers, where she represents Europe and chairs the Global CMO Committee. She is also a member of the Amazon Advertising Council and the MetaClient Council.
