CPL Aromas and Rocambolesc join forces to create a multi-sensory experience

At the exhibition held at the Barcelona Perfume Congress 2025 (18th and 19th June), UK-based perfume house CPL Aromas collaborated with Rocambolesc , the renowned ice cream shop founded by pastry chef Jordi Roca and Ele Rivas.

Over the two days of the event, the CPL Aromas booth transformed into a playful ice cream shop where attendees could explore The Ice Lab’s collection of flavours, with each flavour specially paired with unique Rocambolesc nose-shaped lollipops to sample as the final part of the multi-sensory experience.

The collection included five original compositions , each developed using Aromaspace technology – CPL Aromas’ signature aromatization technique – allowing visitors to experience each scent separately from the others:

  • Banashore , which captures the essence of a tropical holiday, with the scent of Seaside AromaSpace at its core. Fruity banana notes intertwine with gourmand shades of white chocolate, sparkling salty and spicy accords add brightness, and warm sunny floral notes envelop the composition in a luminous trail.
  • Solycaria is a nostalgic tribute to carefree summer days. This fragrance evokes memories of childhood adventures by the river and sunflower seeds, conveying the atmosphere of calm and cozy evenings with loved ones. Pulicaria Incisa AromaSpace plays a leading role in this touching olfactory narrative with its transparent green-floral accord.
  • Okumatcha is an invitation to a serene Japanese garden at sunset. Juicy nectarines and bright fruity notes combine with the soothing depth of Matcha AromaSpace, softened by creamy, milky tones. This is a calming and luminous composition reminiscent of the serenity of the golden hour.
  • Cocoa Glaze combines Black Chocolate AromaSpace and Habag Mint AromaSpace to awaken the senses.
  • Hibisicle , where Flor de Jamaica AromaSpace and bright fruity notes harmoniously combine, transporting us to Mexico, where this flower merges with the water against the backdrop of the most colorful landscapes.

The collection is based on the new trend of neo-gourmandism , in which edible-inspired scents are combined with unexpected notes of rare and playful ingredients such as sunflower seeds, matcha, milky notes and tamarind.

“This exciting journey involving smell, sight and taste has captured the attention of a wide audience,” says CPL Aromas.
