Belle Conklin’s coming-of-age journey is drawing to a close. With the release of the third season of The Summer I’m Beautiful, fans of the original books are starting to wonder if the ending will be the same. The love triangle between Belle ( Lola Tang ), Jeremiah Fisher ( Gavin Casalegno ), and Conrad Fisher ( Christopher Briney ) has become even more complicated. So, will Belle and Jeremiah get married or will they break up after he cheats on them not once, but twice throughout the series?

Will Belli and Jeremiah get married?
In the final book in the series, We’ll Always Have Summer, Belle and Jeremiah never become husband and wife. A few days before the wedding, Conrad reveals to Belle that he still loves her and asks her not to marry Jeremiah. When Belle asks how she feels, she and Jeremiah decide to call off the wedding.
If the Prime Video series follows the original storyline, Belly will not end up marrying Jeremiah.

Who does Belly end up with in The Summer I Got Beautiful?
In the original book series, The Summer I Got Pretty, Belly ends up with Conrad. So fans can expect the same to happen in the show. However, author and show creator Jenny Han mentioned in an interview with Variety in 2022 that her vision for the show is not entirely in line with the books.
“I really had to balance fan expectations and the creative direction of the show to find that balance,” Jenny told the publication. “My priority was always to make sure that fans of the book were happy with the story being told, but also that they understood that this was an adaptation in a new format, so things might not be exactly the same.”
Jenny also hinted, “Nobody knows what could happen with this show. I’ve been open to new ideas throughout the process. I’ve been considering a lot of different options.”
