What is Shark Week?
Shark Week is an annual summer series on the Discovery Channel dedicated to educating viewers about the ocean’s predators.
Who will host Shark Week 2025?
While Discovery hasn’t lined up one celebrity to host the entire week-long block, Tom Bergeron will host “Dancing with Sharks” on July 20.
The former “Dancing with the Stars” host told The Associated Press why he decided to move from the dance floor to the ocean to host a special episode during Shark Week.
“I’ve had a century and a half of experience hosting dance programs, but this was something special,” Tom said before the show’s launch in July 2025. “I often thought during Dancing with the Stars: wouldn’t it be great to bring another species? And now, finally, my dream has come true.”
Where to watch Shark Week
Shark Week is on the Discovery Channel, but if you don’t have cable, you can watch it on discovery+ or HBO Max via Sling.
